Canning Basics | August 13

The Food Project presents 3 exciting workshops for Grow Well, Eat Well, Be Well. All workshops require advanced registration by phone or email: buildagarden@thefoodproject.org or 617-442-1322x68. Children ages 13+ are welcome to join their parents.
 
Canning Basics (August 13):
Preserve the summer's bounty in this hands-on class! Discuss canning equipment and safety measures, try out a few recipes and explore healthy ways to add flavor to food! Canning Basics will take place from 6:00pm to 8:30pm on August 13 at The Food Project Kitchen (555 Dudley Street in Dorchester).
 
Cooking With Your Neighbor (Sept. 14):
Cooking with your neighbors is a workshop that will take place on September 14 from 12pm to 3pm at The Food Project Kitchen (555 Dudley Street in Dorchester). Chef Winnie is back by popular demand to lead a workshop on dishes from the South American country of Guyana.
