Children ages 6-12 will participate in a wide array of programs designed to educate and engage children in a safe environment. Children will learn academic and life skills, discover various aspects of the arts, improve fitness through exercise routines and games, explore the aquatics facilities with water park fun, swimming lessons, and much more.

They'll also enjoy nutritious meals to ensure a healthy summer.

Community Organizing Internship

The Massachusetts Immigrant and Refugee Advocacy (MIRA) Coalition is currently seeking two (2) motivated Organizing Interns for the spring and summer 2015. The Organizing Intern will assist the organizing team to engage MIRA member organizations and allies in state and federal legislative campaigns and actions. S/he will also implement organizing strategies to create strong local structures to develop immigrant leadership and advance the pro-immigrant agenda.

The Wheelock Family Theatre (WFT) is proud to invite students to their Emerging Playwrights Program!

The EPP is a free program designed to inspire, motivate, and support students in the public high schools of Boston who have an aptitude for writing and a specific interest in developing their playwriting skills.

We are now accepting applications for the fall 2015 semester. We will select up to seven young writers from across the city. Applicants will be notified in May regarding their acceptance.

Between September and December 2015, applicants will participate in the following:

 5 Workshops, including a session with a guest professional playwright (Sunday afternoons)

 2 rehearsals of their final project (weekend days)

Seed Crew, formerly known as Summer Youth Program or SYP, is a seven week summer opportunity for youth to grow produce on urban and suburban farms while developing civic engagement and teamwork skills in a diverse setting.

The program brings together around 100 teenagers from diverse cultural, racial, economic, and geographic backgrounds to work on our urban and suburban farms in Lincoln, Boston, and on the North Shore.
