Petition to Keep Grove Hall Post Office Open!

Project RIGHT Inc. is still collecting signatures for their petition to keep the Grove Hall Post Office open. If you need new petitions, come by Project RIGHT, Inc. at 320A Blue Hill Avenue. You can also contact Project RIGHT by phone 617.541.5451.x102 or email. Project RIGHT is collecting signatures until December 22, 2011.

Please contact your Senators and Congressman to express your concerns about the proposal to close the Grove Hall and Uphams Corner Post Office Branches: These two branches serve predominantly low income neighborhoods that have limited access to public transportation and internet service. The closing of these two branches will only widen the disparities gap that these two neighborhoods presently face. These two branches provide a secure money order  service to our neighborhood. You may also wish to contact them to express your opinion about resolving the debt crisis and the impact of potential cuts.
