Domestic Violence Prevention Forum, Aug. 6

Haitian Women of BostonHaitian Women of Boston (AFAB) will hold their annual Domestic Violence Prevention Forum on Saturday, August 6, 2011, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The forum, entitled "Healthy Families Ensure Healthy Communities," features workshops on "Protecting your body," "TPS (Temporary Protected Status): the future of Haitian immigrants," "Family Stabilization Team" and "Advocates navigating for DV clients in health centers & beyond." Mary R.Lauby, ED of Jane Doe, Inc. will give a keynote speech.
