MIRA is coming to Dorchester to offer FREE legal assistance to all eligible green card holders wanting to apply for U.S Citizenship!

MIRA experts, volunteer attorneys, and trained members will help you fill out the Naturalization application (Form N400), step by step.


To be eligible to become a citizen, you must:  

  • Have been a legal permanent resident for 5 years or 3 years if married to US citizen. 
  • Have no serious problems with the law.
  • Speak, write, and read basic English (some may be eligible for an exemption).

Learn the impacts of structural racism in our democracy and participate in dialogues on how to address with powerful reponses, learn and roleplay effective anti-racism strategies, how to build solidarity movements and more! 18th Annual Immigrants Day at the State House | April 8

On Tuesday April 8, MIRA Coalition will host their 18th Annual Immigrants Day at the State House. This event will take place at the State House located on Beacon St from 9:30 am until 12:30 pm. 

Some of the topics that will be discussed are safe driving, tuition equity, Trust Act, worker's rights, citizenship, healthcare, refugee services, safety from domestic violence, integration, funding for English/ABE classes, and more.
