We welcome all students to the Mather school, where effective teaching and learning prepares all students to reach high levels of achievement. As we strive to reach proficiency for all, students will go home each and every day knowing more than they did the day before.

We are a licensed and accredited program designed for the needs of school aged children. We offer a balance of tutorials, computers, recreation, a after school program and arts and crafts with nutritious meals provided. We also have a new language program that now is teaching french and spanish.

ODWIN's two-fold mission is:

(1) To counteract poverty by enabling non-traditional students (people of color, ethnic minorities, working poor with inadequate educational preparation) to enter the professions, thus enabling them and their families to escape poverty, achieve positions of influence, and enhance economic and social change in the Boston community.

(2) To counteract racism and sexism, two of the key causes of the conditions that cause poverty, by increasing the number of competent women and minorities in the professions.

LearningWorks is ABCD's workforce development center. Located in downtown Boston, it offers a variety of education, training and support services for low-income adults. The center is also a resource for employers seeking qualified staff or training opportunities. LearningWorks facilities include a computer lab and a self-directed resource room with automated job banks and resume writing programs.

Labouré is a small, urban, private, Catholic college. Our distinct focus is education for practice in the health sector. We grant the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (for RNs) and the associate in science degree in nursing (RN) and in allied health. We are a member of the Caritas Christi family, the second largest health care system in New England. Your education will take place throughout hospitals within the Caritas system, as well as, other academic medical centers, teaching and community hospitals, and ambulatory care settings in and around Boston.

A comprehensive, doctoral-granting campus, we provide challenging teaching, distinguished research, and extensive service which particularly respond to the academic and economic needs of the state's urban areas and their diverse populations.

The John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum is dedicated to the memory of our nation's thirty-fifth president and to all those who through the art of politics seek a new and better world.
Located on a ten-acre park, overlooking the sea that he loved and the city that launched him to greatness, the Library stands as a vibrant tribute to the life and times of John F. Kennedy.
Tour the Museum which portrays the life, leadership, and legacy of President Kennedy, conveys his enthusiasm for politics and public service, and illustrates the nature of the office of the President.
Students and scholars can also arrange to conduct research using the collection of historical materials chronicling mid-20th century politics and the life and administration of John F. Kennedy.

The Kennedy Library is one of 13 Presidential Libraries administered by the National Archives and Records Administration.

We opened our doors in 1979 with a dream: to build the best urban community in America. As part of this dream, we recognized that though health care begins by alleviating sickness, the journey to a true "culture of health" is achieved through the health of the whole person, and through the health of the whole community.  Our two-physician staff that summer of 1979 may have been small, but our mantra was not: while disease is a lack of health, health is not simply a lack of disease.

Today, with a staff of 280 employees, expert clinicians and medical staff, and an astounding depth and breadth of community programs, we believe that we are on our way toward reaching our dream of building the best urban community in America.
