The Little Miss Dorchester Contest and the Young Miss Dorchester Contest, events that have been part of the annual Dorchester Day celebrations for decades, have the shared goal of bringing girls into the annual event to have fun and build confidence in public speaking. This year the contests will both be held at the First Parish Church (10 Parish Street, Meeting House Hill, Dorchester, MA) on May 5th. The Little Miss Dorchester Contest will begin at 9:30AM, and all girls entering the contest must be residents of Dorchester between the ages of 7-9. Don't miss the Little Miss & Young Miss Dorchester Contests! The contests will take place on May 11 at 2pm in First Parish Church (10 Parish Street in Dorchester). All girls entering the contest must be: residents of Dorchester, able to participate in the Dorchester Day Parade, able to provide a copy of their birth certificate if they win or are a runner-up, attach their response to one of the offered questions and read/recite it at the day of the contest, 7-12 years old on the day of the contest.
