Dot Day Kickoff Dinner | March 24

The traditional Dorchester Day kick-off meatloaf dinner will be held on Thurs., March 24 from 6-8 p.m. at First Parish Church on Meetinghouse Hill. The event will be catered by Pat's Pizza.

The Little Miss Dorchester Contest and the Young Miss Dorchester Contest are events that have been part of the annual Dorchester Day celebrations for decades. They have the shared goal of bringing girls into the annual event to have fun and build confidence in public speaking. This year the contests will both be held at the First Parish Church (10 Parish Street, Meeting House Hill, Dorchester, MA) on May 11th, 2:00 p.m.

The entire Dorchester community is preparing for the upcoming 108th Dorchester Day Parade, which starts at 1 PM in Lower Mills, will march four miles along Dorchester Avenue and end at Columbia Road. The Dorchester Reporter has the details here.
