Dorchester Day 5K | June 5

The Project D.E.E.P & The Blarney Stone presents the Dorchester Day 5K. Cookout, raffle and awards immediately following the race. 

When: Sun, June 5th 12pm, Registration at 11am.

Where: The Blarney Stone, 1505 Dorchester Ave

Adults:

  • $30 Pre Race Fee/$35 Race Day Fee

Children Under 12:

  • $15 Pre Race Fee/$20 Race Day Fee

Run to celebrate Dorchester Day and support Project D.E.E.P and Blarney Stone! Race begins and ends at the Blarney Stone and runs down Dorchester Ave. towards Lower Mills and back along the same route. Awards, raffle, and cookout immediately after the race!

DORCHESTER DAY PARADE! | June 7

Dorchester Day happens every year on the first Sunday in June. It is to honor the establishing of Dorchester as a town of Boston and the History of the many events it provided. Come to the Dorchester Day Parade and join your community in a celebration of all things Dorchester! 

The parade starts in Lower Mills and travels along Dorchester Avenue to Savin Hill at the corner of Columbia Road and Dorchester Avenue.

Dorchester Day Parade 10K Cocktails and Cash Drawing | May 22

Join us for a night of fun and help support the efforts of the Dorchester Day Parade Committee. There will be music, entertainment, delicious appetizers, and great raffle prizes!

General Admission into the event is $25. One entry in the 10K Drawing with admittance for 2 is $100. All Proceeds benefit the Dorchester Day Parade!

The entire Dorchester community is preparing for the upcoming 108th Dorchester Day Parade, which starts at 1 PM in Lower Mills, will march four miles along Dorchester Avenue and end at Columbia Road. The Dorchester Reporter has the details here.

Annual Kick-Off Dinner for Dot Day | March 29

Come celebrate the kick-off of the Dorchester Day season with a helping of Gerard's Restaurant famous meatloaf and hear the winning essays selected by the Dorchester Day Parade Committee. Tickets can be bought at the door. The rates are $15 for adults, $7 for children, and $30 for a family of four.
