Join Bowdoin Geneva Main Streets for their Inaugeral Multicultural Festival! On  Saturday, July 14, the festival will be held at the Reverend Allen Park at the Corner of Church and Adam Streets in Dorchester from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm. BeanTown Jazz Fest Block Party Sep. 24

Boston's biggest block party will be on Saturday, September 24, from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Columbus Avenue. The party starts in the South end at Massachusetts Avenue and will feature three stages with performances from more than 15 artists and many family activities to participate in. There will also be vendors selling food from all over the world. Carter Playground will be transformed into Berklee Family Park - a hub of activity that will feature inflatables, face painting, and even an "instrument petting zoo" staffed by Berklee professionals!

Boston Local Food Festival Oct. 1

On Saturday, October 1st from 11AM to 5PM the Sustainable Business Network is holding the Boston Local Food Festival, which will be held on the Boston Waterfront at Fort Point. The festival aims to promote accessibility and availability of local healthy food for all. The festival will feature freshly harvested produce and seafood, affordable meals made with local food, and local craft beer and wine tastings. There is also the opportunity to meet with farmers, chefs and entrepreneurs, learn from exhibits and demonstrations about gardening, cooking, nutrition, health and exercise while enjoying art and festive music. 38th Caribbean Carnival Festival & Parade, Aug. 21, 25, 26, 27

Boston Carnival VillageDon a costume, dance to Soca and Steel-Band music and savor culinary treasures prepared by some of the Caribbean’s finest. Founded in 1973, Boston's Trinidad-style Carnival is one of the hottest events of the summer. March in the parade, watch each band's "King" and "Queen" proceed by in full dress, be part of the "J'ouvert" street party, attend a huge live concert featuring Machel Montano or go on a boat cruise.
