Deck the Windows Celebration | Dec. 20

Congratulations to Back to Life Chiropractic and Wellness; winners of the City's "Deck the Windows" decorating celebration! The award reception will take place on December 20 at 5pm. The event is located at 1912 Dorchester Ave. Sheila Dillon, Director of Boston's Department of Neighborhood Development, will present the award to Dr. Anil Nair and Philippe Saad at 5:30. The celebration will include refreshments!

"Complete Streets" Neighborhood Walk, Jul. 19

Complete Streets - Dorchester Ave.Please join SMAMS, Fields Corner Main Street, Boston Transportation Dept and Boston Public Health Commission for a "Complete Streets" Neighborhood Walk from Fields Corner to Peabody Square on Tuesday, July 19!  Walk starts at 1500 Dorchester Avenue in Fields Corner at 5:30 p.m. The walk leader will be Mark Fenton, host of the "America's Walking" PBS TV series and one of the country's leading experts on the relationship among walking, street design and public health.

The group will explore the walking environment along Dorchester Ave. and learn how current and planned improvement projects fit with the City's efforts to create streets that are "multimodal, green and smart" to support a healthy, active lifestyle. Refreshments will be served! >> Read More
