A Special Needs Panel Presentation Jan. 12
The Dorchester Cluster is inviting Parents and Providers to attend Special Needs Panel Presentation: A free panel discussion for families with children, adolescents and young adults who have special needs or disabilities. In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to register a child/family member with North Star, a free and voluntary program run by the Boston Police Department designed for parents or caretakers of children and individuals that may have a tendency to wander or are a flight risk from a specific location.
The event is happening January 12, 2012 - North Star Registration will be held at 6:00 p.m. and the Panel Presentation will be from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Presenters include:
B&G Clubs of Dorchester and Project B.I.N.D.(Boston Inclusion Network for Disabilities); Family Ties; TILL/Boston Families for Autism; Boston Public Schools SpEd PAC; Best Buddies; North Star; Boston School Committee.
