Join Our “Baby and Child Scientists”!

Submitted by the Division of Developmental Medicine, Children’s Hospital Boston

ChildrensHow do babies recognize faces? Does musical training improve reading skills? Are ADHD and dyslexia related? To answer questions like these we need the help of families like yours. In the Division of Developmental Medicine at Children’s Hospital Boston, we are working to shed light on such questions by learning more about brain and behavior development in infants, children, and adolescents.  In gaining a better understanding of these processes, our goal is to contribute to the healthy growth and development of our children.

To help us achieve this goal, we would like to invite you to join our growing registry of families who are interested in participating in research. Your participation could provide us with valuable information on children’s development.  Joining the registry does not obligate you to participate in any studies; it just gives us a way to let you know when there is a study in your child’s age range. Most of our studies offer compensation, free child care for siblings, and a small gift for your child.  Convenient, free parking is also available by our Longwood Medical Area location (MBTA Green Line “D”). Detailed information about our studies and our registry can be found on our website. If you are interested in joining our registry, please visit our website to sign up online or give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!
