Kids! Come and see how a symphony orchestra works! On November 8th at 1 pm the Dorchester Symphony Orchestra (Your Hometown Orchestra) will hold a special open rehearsal for children! Come and talk to the players, see how they play their instruments and watch the orchestra rehearse! See how an orchestra prepares for a concert, why the players sit where they do, how each instrument sounds, and what the conductor does - everything you wanted to know about a symphony orchestra!
