The Mind Matters: Families Make A Difference

Parent University Logo

Boston Public Schools (BPS) Parent University believes that every BPS family is equipped and empowered to advocate and partner with schools to ensure every child has access to a quality education and achieves excellence in school. Parent University will be hosting workshops that provide educational resources and community support for families with children ages 3-8 to help foster learning at home. This is a 10 session workshop series and participation is free. Families will be able to learn strategies for how to foster your child's development and learning at home and in school. These sessions will include hands on activities, mini lectures and videos. This program was developed by Harvard University and is based on cutting edge brain research on children's social, emotional, and intellectual growth. Participating families will receive learning materials and activities to take home and use. To sign up for a workshop, please click here.
