HIV Testing

As many as 200,000 Americans are currently infected with the HIV virus and do not know it. And those who do not know they are infected are far more likely to infect someone else with the virus; every 9.5 minutes someone in the United States is infected with HIV. That’s almost 151 people every day! Getting tested helps prevent the spread of HIV, yet many who are at risk have never tested before.

NeponsetHealth Center and Geiger Gibson Community Health Center offers free anonymous HIV testing. Our walk-in testing hours at Neponset Health Center are Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. and Fridays from 1 to 5 p.m. Geiger Gibson Community Health Center’s walk in testing hours are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. To make an appointment during other business hours, call 617-282-3200 x3176.
