Transition Team Environment, Energy, Open Space Forum | January 7

Fill the room with Franklin Park advocates, Tuesday, Jan. 7 @ 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm, to let the Transition Team know how important Boston’s largest park is! What do you hope Mayor-elect Marty Walsh will do for the park? Think of ideas that fit into the categories of “Keep, Implement, Dream.”
Here are some ideas, what are yours?
Improved and re-paved paths
Tree maintenance
New picnic tables and park benches
A playground for children at the Shattuck Picnic Grove
Fitness equipment for exercise
Much-needed funding for the Elma Lewis Playhouse in the Park to sustain and expand the series

To better serve open space across the city, the Boston Park Advocates is promoting these ideas. See which ones would impact your use of Franklin Park and other greenspace in your neighborhood.
