REACH Coalition Meeting | July 7

The REACH Coalition Meeting takes place on July 7 from 5:30pm to 8:00pm at the Grove Hall Community Center (51 Geneva Avenue in Dorchester). Support your community and share your thoughts! BCYF Neighborhood Block Parties | July 10 to Aug 21

Boston Centers for Youth & Family (BCYF) is hosting a number of block parties around Boston in July and August. Bring your friends and family to a party on one of these fun Thursday nights from 5pm to 7pm. Artist in Residence Craft Workshops | July 8

The Boston Parks and Recreation Department’s annual ParkARTS program presents a series of workshops that give kids the opportunity to express their creativity while working on fun projects with local artists. This workshop will go from 9am to noon at 1565 Dorchester Ave. Participation is free and all materials are provided, but young children must be accompanied by an adult. Youth in Crisis presents Scoops 'N Hoops: The 9th Annual Food For Thought Cookout. This is a community event taking place from 10am to 4pm at Mildred Middle Community Center! End of Time Performance | July 31

On July 31, Ashmont Hill Chamber Music will host a very special event. Olivier Messiaen's Quartet for the End of Time will be performed by three time Grammy nominated clarinetist Todd Palmer, two time Grammy nominated violinist Jesse Mills,  pianist Rieko Aizawa from the Horszowski Trio, and cellist Julia Bruskin from the Claremont Trio. The pre-concert lecture goes from 6:30pm to 7:00pm. The concert starts at 7:00pm and finishes around 9:00pm. This performance will take place at First Parish (535 Canton Ave in Milton).
