VietAID First Grade Summer Program 2011

Viet‐AID is excited to host its first annual summer program for first grade students. The program is designed to provide youth who are English Language Learners an opportunity for academic and cultural enrichment over the summer. It offers half‐day programming, with a strong focus on literacy instruction. 

Program Includes: Breakfast, three hours of literacy instruction, lunch.
Eligibility: Students must be English Language Learners, have finished with K2 (rising 1st graders) and attend Boston Public Schools.

Program operates for 6 weeks, from July 11th to August 19th, 5 days per week (Monday through Friday) at the Vietnamese American Community Center, 42 Charles Street, Dorchester and the Cleveland Community Center, 11 Charles Street, Dorchester. The days are 4.5 hours long, 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
