Fields Corner Branch Library: The Boston Public Library's mission is to preserve and provide access to historical record of our society, and to serve the cultural, educational, and informational needs of the City and the Commonwealth. Drop-in science and craft programs are offered several times during the year, along with school vacation programming and vibrant summer reading programs.

Henderson Inclusion School: The Henderson Elementary (formerly the O'Hearn) is paired with the Harbor School as K-8 "feeder" schools. Students completing Grade 5 at the Henderson may apply to any middle school in the East Zone but are guaranteed assignment to the Harbor for Grade 6 if they so choose.

Neighborhood House Charter School: The mission of the Neighborhood House Charter School is 1) to offer a quality education to a diverse community of Boston children through a neighborhood-based school that integrates education with social services and health care programs and 2) to develop and share with other schools innovative practices that improve public education for all students.

WIC (Dorchester South): Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Nutrition Program provides health education, healthy foods as well as referrals to other agencies. Pregnant women, postpartum women and children 0-5 years of age can participate in the WIC program (must be a Massachusetts family to qualify).
